Price Rite

I self checked out (with help twice from personnel) and bagged my groceries. While leaving the store, a security guard asked to see my receipt which I denied.

After loading my car, I went back in the store to file a complaint. The manager said it is the store policy now to check everyone's receipt. I said that was b.s. and the security guard did not check the receipt of people in front of me.

If Price Rite thinks I am going to bag my own groceries and then allow some security guard to go through my items and check my receipt, they are crazy and stupid. Next time you are suspicious, call the police.

I will gladly take you on and show you what you are. I asked people in the parking lot if they self checked out and if anyone checked their receipt and they said "No." As a white woman, profiled by a black security guard who did not check the receipt of black people in front of me leaving the store or the Hispanic people in the parking light who I asked if their receipt was checked, I think this is a problem.

I put my items on the belt. The clerk took my cart and gave me the one she transferred my purchase too.

Problem is my cell phone was still in the child seat. In 10 minutes I was back in asking if someone turned in a phone. The clerk at bot the self checkout and the one that checked me out "did not see a phone" and "Noone turned one in". Really acted like they could not understand my issue.

They took my info and I searched the carts outside and walked around the store pushing find my phone to no avail. Really they did not care. Called the next day and the manager left me on hold for 30 plus minutes and then forgot about me. Called back and was told that story by the female answering the phone.

Needless to say no phone found. Called the police and reported it stolen. The next day I go in and ask for a manager. He tells me they have video footage recording but he cannot view it since his TV is broke.

They are to fix it Thursday. So today is Friday and guess what the TV is still broke. Really should have better turn around for safety in this store. Even the police told me he was told they have minimal security cameras in this store.

Location is Queen St York PA. Guess you do not train employees to give me time to get my personal items out of the cart before they grab it.

Also makes me very suspicious that this was a store employee stealing my phone. The day I went in for the second time another customer was there asking if someone had turned in her phone that she left on the self checkout out register 20 minutes before.

I bought the bell colored pepper last week

At the register priced $6.49 while I remember it was $5.99 so I ask the girl on the counter to check the price so she came to say $6.49 so I believed her

Again today I went to buy another one and I found the price marked $5.99 with the discretion on the label and when I went to check out the scan call it$6.49 so I called the girl again to check the price

She removed the price tag and told me the price$6.49 and checked with Billy which she called him the manager when I ask her to come with me to show the price she refused

So I went and I saw the tag removed to make fill scammed and full so I ask to speak to the manager , he came with no respect asking so what you want me to do

So I told him you should not remove the sign and till me the right price you should say sorry for mislead the customer and own you mistake

So with disrespect he laugh and said sorry

And walked away laughing

When I told him Ill call the main office to complain he said , he doesnt care

I called the customer service and she got the receipt which I dont have it ready now

Today was supposed to be my first day of employment training, however when I arrive the Manager had and nasty attitude for any reason unknown to me , I was on time but couldn't find her or get in lunch room to put my belongings away to go and clock in.So, when I finally found manager Ms Kimberly she once again was in a bad attitude with her dealing with me she said I was late because training was from 2:00 pm til 6:00 pm it was 2:08 and time was wasted looking for her and trying get in lunch room to put away my things .the problem came in when while in another office she ask me to sign my paper for clocking in and while doing so I send on that same paper about orientation hours ,so I ask her did she get around to putting my hours in for my participation in orientation a week before.She begin with her rude like , unprofessional mannerism saying " no don't asked me about that just fill out this paper ". At that moment I realized how her rudeness, disrespect, disregard and unprofessional mannerism towards me has been ongoing since and while I been trying to transition into the stocking position.i realized that if I sign that paperwork at that time while being treated that way upon trying to get to position just imagine what was yet to come from dealing with her and that job environment with attitudes like that allowed to be around then I rather not go forward,so I did not sign the paperwork that would of lock me in as a worker their ,I will continue to shop their need be however I will not persue and career with your company for those reasons.thank you for taking time to read my letter .the all took place on 10-26-2022 around 2:00 pm . I would not recommend anyone giving their time, energy or self worth to a company that allowed senior employees to walk around with that kind of behavior and or demeanor.I can not say at this time about even suggesting customers to shop at that location.

Prince rite is a store option on the list of stores in Pennsylvania. I went to the store here in York Pa 2142 South Queen Street York Pa 17403. To purchase my Christmas Ham and was told they dont except the Perfect Feast coupon.
